No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code by authorizing the chief justice of the supreme court of Texas, in the event of an emergency, to by order allow a district court and a statutory county court to hear cases, hold court, and transact business at the county seat of another county located in the administrative judicial region in which the district court and statutory county court are located or at the county seat of a county located in an adjacent administrative judicial region.
