No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the board of the Edwards Aquifer Authority to adopt rules regarding the control of fires in the aquifer's recharge zone. In adopting the rules, the board would be required to consult with fire departments and fire marshals with jurisdiction over the recharge zone.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
