No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require that staff development training relating to the instruction of students with disabilities be research-based.

The bill would require that school districts consult with experts in research-based practices for students with disabilities in the process of developing training related to instruction of students with disabilities.

Local Government Impact

School districts would be required to provide research-based staff development and consult with experts in developing training regarding the instruction of students with disabilities. No significant fiscal impact is anticipated.
