No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require that staff development training relating to the instruction of students with disabilities be research-based.

The bill would require that school districts consult with experts in research-based practices for students with disabilities in the process of developing training related to instruction of students with disabilities.


Local Government Impact

School districts would be required to provide research-based staff development to certain educators regarding the instruction of students with disabilities  Districts would be required to consult with experts in developing training regarding the instruction of students with disabilities. No significant fiscal impact is anticipated.
