SB610 by Duncan (Relating to the boundaries, powers, and governance of the Salt Fork Water Quality District.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add Kent County and specified parts of Scurry and Garza counties to the territory of the Salt Fork Water Quality District, which under current statute is within the boundaries of Stonewall County only. Provisions of the bill would also add to the district's powers and make changes related to the number and method of selecting board members.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
