No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 662, Government Code, to declare the Saturday before Thanksgiving Day as Texas Adoption Day.  It would also require the Department of Family and Protective Services to create a statewide awareness campaign to promote the event.  The agency reports no fiscal impact because they are already planning a statewide awareness campaign.
