No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Higher Education Coordinating Board to conduct a study to determine whether institutions of higher education may effectively enter into joint partnerships agreements. The Board would report the results of the study to the Legislature by January 1, 2009. The Coordinating Board would implement provisions of the bill within existing resources.
