No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) to conduct a study converning maximum lifetime benefit limits under health plan coverage concerning hemophilia-related services, supplies, pharmaceuticals, and biologics.

Based on the analysis of TDI, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.
