No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend and repeal sections of Subtitle F of Title 8, Government Code, which governs the Texas County and District Retirement System (TCDRS). Different segments of the bill would have different effective dates, including some portions taking effect September 1, 2007, although otherwise, the bill would take effect January 1, 2008.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication is anticipated for TCDRS or its participating local government entities.
