No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend statute and extend the financing term on energy savings performance contracts from 15 years to 20 years from the final date of installation or the average useful life of the energy measures, whichever is less. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources. It is also assumed that any savings associated with the bill would not be significant.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
