No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code relating to designation of certain areas as the premises of a mixed beverage permit holder.

The bill would add Alcoholic Beverage Code, Section 28.10 (c) which discusses the delivery of alcoholic beverages in a secured noncontiguous area located on public sidewalks adjoining a premise with a mixed beverage permit holder. The bill would take effect immediately if two-thirds of the House of Representatives and Senate members vote to enact the legislation. If it does not receive the vote necessary for immediate impact, the bill would take effect on September 1, 2007.

The Alcoholic Beverage Commission anticipates no significant fiscal impact to the agency. 


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
