No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require that the online best practices clearinghouse maintained by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) include information related to instruction of students with autism and autism-related disorders. The bill would require that TEA provide technical assistance to campuses implementing related programs.
Local Government Impact
School districts would be required to submit information regarding programs related to the instruction of students with autism and autism-related disorders to the online best practices clearinghouse.
