No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Higher Education Coordinating Board to establish a method for assessing the quality and effectiveness of academic advising services available to students at each institution of higher education. The Higher Education Coordinating Board would be able to implement provisions of the bill within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
