No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would prohibit the operation of a school bus if the door of the school bus is open.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. Local law enforcement would see some costs to enforce the new offense, but these costs are expected to be insignificant.
