SB1128 by Hegar (Relating to the Texas Rural Foundation.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code and Government Code to change the name of the Rural Foundation to the Texas Rural Foundation and to modify the number of members of the board of directors of the Texas Rural Foundation. 

Based on information provided by the Office of Rural Community Affairs and the Department of Housing and Community Affairs, it is assumed that costs related to the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be covered by utilizing existing resources.

This bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
