No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code to authorize a county commissioners court to prohibit the sale of alcoholic beverages by a dealer within a distance of 300 feet of a homeless shelter or a transitional housing center. The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated as a result of establishing and enforcing applicable regulations.
