No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would prohibit a person from selling or otherwise disclosing to another person or an affiliate of the person electronically readable information accessed, compiled, or maintained from a driver's license, commercial driver's license, or personal identification certificate.

Provisions of the bill would apply only to an offense committed on or after the effective date of the bill, which would be September 1, 2007.
