No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Under provisions of the bill, the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents is authorized to impose a student endowment fund fee on each student enrolled at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.  The amount of revenue generated by the fee, locally assessed by Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, would depend on the fee amount assessed by the University and could increase with enrollment growth.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
