No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code relating to the issuance of a food and beverage certificate to the holder of a wine and beer retailer's permit.  The bill states that the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission may exempt concessionaires in public venues from the requirement that food service be the primary business on the premises. This bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission anticipates no significant fiscal impact on the department from the implementation of this bill. 


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
