No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Under provisions of the bill, indirect cost recovery fees is removed from the list of items that must be accounted for as educational and general funds by institutions of higher education. The bill will shift funds from educational and general funds to local funds.  There would be no fiscal impact to the State as indirect cost is currently excluded from the calculation of other educational and general income.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
