SB1549 by Hinojosa (Relating to health services districts.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to change a county or hospital district's contribution from a percentage of its general revenue levy to a specified dollar amount equal to or greater than what the county would spend that fiscal year to be eligible for state assistance. The bill would add unexcused absences from four board meetings in a calendar year as grounds for removal of a director.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
