No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to specify that a violation of a rule adopted under Section 364.011 would be a Class C misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $200, and that each day of a continuing violation would constitute a separate offense.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
