SB1601 by West, Royce (Relating to the operation of the Joint Admission Medical Program and to admission to the program.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends several sections of the Education Code relating to the operation and admission requirements of the Joint Admission Medical Program. Under provisions of the bill, the Joint Admission Program Council, which includes public and private health-related institutions, could accept property, securities, services as well as funds raised by volunteer groups, to fund the program.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
