No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Chapter 40, Human Resources Code, to create a foster care youth advisory council to advise the Commissioner of Family and Protective Services on matters related to foster care. The duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
