No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add Section 1071.3585 to the Occupations Code to authorize a county attorney to apply for a court order to allow a registered professional land surveyor who holds office as a county surveryor to cross land for which a landowner has denied permission to cross if the surveyor needs to cross the land in the course of performing the surveyor's duties.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
