No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend several sections of the Election Code relating to: requirements for accepting voter applications; requirements for contracting with the governing body of a political subdivision; alternative dispute resolution for contract negotiations; eligibility as an election clerk, including persons who are 16 years of age and in good standing with a public or private secondary school; and charges for recounts. The bill would be effective September 1, 2007.
