IN RE:	SB1705 by Harris (Relating to the requirements of a candidate for certain judicial offices to be placed on the ballot.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would provide an exemption for being placed on the ballot for certain judicial candidates currently holding office. The bill would take effect immediately with a two-thirds vote. Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
