SB1736 by Shapiro (Relating to the powers, duties, and financing of cultural education facilities finance corporations.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Cultural Education Facilities Finance Corporation Act to add to the definition of "cultural facility" any capital expenditure by a user and would include a facility in which certain nonprofit corporations and charitable organizations engage in any activity in which the entity is permitted to engage.

The bill would take effect immediately if it were to receive the required two-thirds vote in each house; otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 20007.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
