No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend statute relating to the waiting period for issuing a decree in certain suits for divorce. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house; otherwise, the bill will take effect September 1, 2007.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
