SB1796 by Estes (Relating to the regulation of the sale of salvia divinorum; providing a criminal penalty.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends Health and Safety Code, Chapter 161 which would prohibit the sale of Salvia Divinorum to persons younger than 18 years of age. The bill takes effect September 1, 2007. 

 

The Department of Public Safety anticipates that the bill would have no significant fiscal impact to their agency.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
