SB1867 by Zaffirini (Relating to the filing of an amended subdivision plat with a county to correct certain errors or omissions.), As Passed 2nd House

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 232, Local Government Code, to authorize a commissioners court to approve and issue an amending plat if the amending plat meets certain requirements. The bill would also expand plat requirements a commissioners court may impose. In addition, provisions of the bill would authorize the commissioners court to require a developer to construct a limited fire suppression system in certain subdivisions.

 The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.
