SB1908 by Ellis (Relating to the system by which an application for a low income housing tax credit is scored.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Government Code to modify the scoring criteria for an application for a low income housing tax credit to eliminate the measure of the level of community support for the application, evaluated on the basis of written statements from state elected officials.

 

Based on information provided by the Department of Housing and Community Affairs, it is assumed that costs related to the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be covered by utilizing existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.
