SB1908 by Ellis (Relating to creation of an Internet portal for housing resources.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Government Code to provide for the creation of the Housing Resources Internet Portal.

Based on information provided by the Department of Housing and Community Affairs, the Department of Information Resources, the Office of Rural Community Affairs, the Real Estate Commission, the Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending, and the Water Development Board, it is assumed that costs related to the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be covered by utilizing existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
