No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to allow the Office of the Attorney General to offer assistance to a local prosecuting attorney in the prosecution of all manner of criminal cases or in performing any duty imposed by law on the local prosecuting attorney. It is assumed that any additional cost associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
