No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $77,468.


The resolution would prohibit an officer appointed by the Governor and subject to the advice and consent of the Senate from serving past the 30th day of the first regular session following the expiration of their term of office. Likewise, if their term expires during the regular session, the officer would be prohibited from serving past the 30th day after the date their term expires.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
