SB1187 by Nelson (Relating to data collection at the Department of State Health Services.), As Introduced

As a result of this bill there will be a restriction upon:

(1) the open records law;
(2) the access to government information.

The bill would modify the requirements for release of certain data by the Department of State Health Services. The department would not be required to make data available or release data for inspection under Chapter 552, Government Code, until the program director has verified the data is reasonably accurate.
