Pursuant to a notice posted on March 1, 2007, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Miller, at 8:08 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Miller; Brown, Betty; Aycock; Heflin (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Anderson; Gallego; Garcia (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Invited testimony was taken from agencies under the committee's jurisdiction.  (See attached witness list.)

At 9:04 a.m., on the motion of Representative Aycock and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
