Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 15, 2007, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Miller, at 5:19 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Miller; Anderson; Brown, Betty; Aycock; Gallego; Heflin (6).

 

Absent:              Representative Garcia (1).

 

A quorum was present.

SB 911

 

The chair laid out SB 911.

 

Representative Miller offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The chair recognized Representative Miller to explain the measure.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Aycock moved that SB 911, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Miller; Anderson; Brown, Betty; Aycock; Heflin (5).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Gallego; Garcia  (2).
