Pursuant to a notice posted on April 13, 2007, and an announcement from the House floor to suspend the 5-day posting rule on April 17, 2007, the House Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on Spending Limitations, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Isett, Carl, at 8:11 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Isett, Carl; Harper-Brown; Lucio III; Van Arsdale (4).

 

Absent:            Representatives McClendon; Taylor (2).

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HJR 2, HB 3533, and HJR 53.

 

The chair recognized Representative Isett, Carl to explain HJR 2 and HB 3533.

The chair recognized Representative Paxton to explain HJR 53.

At 9:54 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until the adjournment of the House on April 18, 2007.
