Pursuant to a notice posted on April 2, 2008, the House Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on Transportation Issues, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Harper-Brown, at 10:15 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Harper-Brown; Chavez; Gattis; McClendon; Noriega, Rick (5).

 

Absent:            Representatives Kolkhorst; Turner (2).

 

A quorum was present.

At 12:02 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 12:22 p.m., April 9, 2008.

 

The committee reconvened at 12:35 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Harper-Brown. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Harper-Brown; Kolkhorst; McClendon; Noriega, Rick (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Chavez; Gattis; Turner (3).

 

A quorum was present.
