Pursuant to a notice posted on June 23, 2008, the House Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on Health Workforce Issues, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Guillen, at 10:07 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Guillen; Gattis (2).

 

Absent:            Representative Kolkhorst (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Pursuant to a notice posted on June 23, 2008, the House Committee on Border and International Affairs, Subcommittee on Health Workforce Issues, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative T. King, at 10:07 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives King; Pickett (2).

 

Absent:            Representative Castro, J. (1).

 

Pursuant to a notice posted on June 24, 2008, the House Committee on Public Health, Subcommittee on Health Workforce Issues, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Delisi, at 10:07 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Delisi; Gonzales, V.; Laubenberg (3).

 

Absent:             (0).

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 4:02 p.m., on the motion of Representative Pickett, and without objection, the Border and International Affairs meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.

 

At 4:02 p.m., on the motion of Representative Delisi, Chair of Public Health , and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.

 

At 4:02 p.m., on the motion of Representative Guillen, Vice Chair of Appropriations, and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
