Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule and announcement from the floor on February 5, 2007, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kolkhorst, at 7:08 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Kolkhorst; Crownover; McClendon; Otto (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Branch; Brown, Fred (2).

 

A quorum was present.

At 9:28 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 2:30 p.m., February 6, 2007.

 

The committee reconvened at 2:44 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kolkhorst. The roll was answered as follows:

A quorum was present.
