Pursuant to a notice posted on February 6, 2007, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kolkhorst, at 9:25 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Kolkhorst; Branch; Crownover; Otto (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Brown, Fred; McClendon (2).

 

A quorum was present.

At 1:59 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until adjournment of the House on February 12, 2007.The committee reconvened at 4:14 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kolkhorst. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Kolkhorst; Crownover; McClendon; Otto (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Branch; Brown, Fred (2).

 

A quorum was present.
