Pursuant to a notice posted on February 6, 2007, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health & Human Services met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Davis, John, at 8:45 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Davis, John; Hopson; Jackson, Jim; Zerwas (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Gattis; Dukes (2).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

At 1:58 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until final adjournment of the House on February 12th, 2007.

 

The committee reconvened at 3:55 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Davis, John. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Davis, John; Gattis; Hopson; Zerwas (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Dukes; Jackson, Jim (2).

 

A quorum was present.

At 6:50 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
