A quorum was present.

At 12:19 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 12:50 p.m., April 29, 2008.

 

The committee reconvened at 1:00 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Turner. The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representatives Allen, Alma; England; Riddle (3).
