Pursuant to a notice posted on February 2, 2007, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Isett, Carl, at 8:15 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Isett, Carl; Noriega, Rick; Brown, Betty; Chavez; Harper-Brown (5).

 

Absent:              Representative Crownover (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 9:59 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until upon adjournment.

 

The committee reconvened at 12:04 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Isett, Carl. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Isett, Carl; Noriega, Rick; Brown, Betty; Crownover (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Chavez; Harper-Brown (2).

 

A quorum was present.
