Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 4, 2007, the House Committee on Border & International Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Tracy, at 4:07 p.m.

Absent:              Representatives Castro; Hardcastle; Merritt (3).

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 2535.

 

Representative Pickett offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Pickett moved that HB 2535, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).
