Pursuant to a notice posted on February 11, 2008, the House Committee on Border & International Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Tracy O., at 9:08 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives King, Tracy O.; Frost; Hardcastle; Pickett (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Castro; Hernandez; Merritt (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 12:23 p.m., on the motion of Representative Pickett and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
