Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 12, 2007, and a suspension of the House Rules for permission to meet during reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Woolley, at 3:31 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Woolley; Chavez; Dukes; Elkins; Hamilton; Turner; Van Arsdale (7).

 

Absent:              Representatives Branch; Crownover; Guillen; Taylor (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Representative Woolley moved to stand at ease.

Representative Woolley moved to place the following measures:

on the Major State Calendar for Wednesday, March 14, 2007:  HB735, HB1379, HB284, HB1491; and

 

on the General State Calendar for Wednesday, March 14, 2007:  HB84, HB373, HB1109, HB496, HB937.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Woolley; Chavez; Branch; Dukes; Elkins; Guillen; Hamilton; Turner; Van Arsdale (9).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Crownover; Taylor  (2).

 

At 3:34 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned
