Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 19, 2007, and a suspension of the House Rules for permission to meet during reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Woolley, at 3:50 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Woolley; Dukes; Elkins; Guillen; Taylor; Turner; Van Arsdale (7).

 

Absent:              Representatives Chavez; Branch; Crownover; Hamilton (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Representative Woolley moved to place the following measures:

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Woolley; Dukes; Elkins; Guillen; Taylor; Turner; Van Arsdale (7).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Chavez; Branch; Crownover; Hamilton  (4).

 

At 3:52 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
